They Lapse 

If you have a particular home care package allocated to you, it implies that the package is funded by the NSW Government. That also means you have 56 days in your hand to choose a Newcastle homecare service provider. Upon failure to do so, the package will lapse, and you will lose it.   • You are paying higher hourly fees 
  • You are not satisfied with their services 
  • They are constantly changing the carers
  • You are not receiving the care promised to you 
  • You are not receiving the customised care you need 

There is the provision of paying for your home care 

If you need extra help beyond the package or if you are awaiting your funds, you can choose one from those available home care packages yourself. Also, you can choose to pay for the home care yourself. 

Remember some home care service providers take 50 percent of your total home care package in fees. While some caregivers would charge exit fees and establishment charges, others won't. 

So keep these points in mind if you are in pursuit of the right home care package for you or your loved one!
